What do I need to carry during a driving lesson?

You must have a valid learner permit at all times (No valid learner permit – No Lesson). Bring your logbook if applicable.

Where do I book my driving test?

We recommend booking your test at the licensing centre nearest to your home or work to reduce travel time and avoid extra charges.

What should I carry on the Practical Driving Assessment (PDA)?

• Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy
• Bring your Learner’s Permit, Logbook, and a second primary ID
• Ensure you have passed the Hazard Perception Test (HPT)
• Ensure your logbook is correctly completed and signed
• Arrive at least 15 minutes before your test

How much notice is required to cancel or reschedule a PDA?

You must provide at least 48 hours’ notice (effective from 1 April 2026).

What is the speed limit for learner drivers?

• Adjust speed based on road, traffic, and weather conditions
